We all have to start somewhere and I choose here to begin the journey of learning more about design and development in the multimedia/technology world! For the next few weeks, you will be seeing my journey through this educational adventure in this blog through my words and hopefully elsewhere in some digital form as well! My name is Myriah Mengelson-Clark and I work in a K-12 environment supporting a high school and its feeder schools as an SBLC facilitator. I enjoy the benefits that being capable digital technologists provides both students and other educators. So, I decided to get a graduate certificate in Educational Technology Leadership to further enhance my abilities in that realm. I have thoroughly enjoyed the other two classes that I have taken and look forward to this one a great deal. I enjoy learning and particularly love learning about technology and developing design strategically to improve learning for young adults and adults alike.
In the next few weeks, you will be seeing the results of my foray into the design and development of multimedia units here. I will post the artifacts that I will be creating along with some commentary about them. Hopefully, you will hopefully be able to see as I put in place things that I learn as I go along.
